I have created a new blog! Check it out at http://robinsonfamilyfun.blogspot.com/
Today Brooklynn went to the doctor for her two week check-up. She now weighs 9lbs. and is 21 1/4 in. long. Our little girl is growing and healthy! What a joy and blessing she is to our family. Carson is still doing very well with her. He loves helping take care of her- getting diapers, telling us when she is crying and needs to eat, singing to her, and giving her LOTS of hugs and kisses.Comments:Add a comment:

We have been very busy all summer. Visiting family, traveling to Vancouver, running after a two year old, and preparing for the arrival of Brooklynn Ann. I have been trying to upload pictures, but have not been successful. I am thinking about starting a blog soon and leaving the aboutmybaby world.
Comments:Marla: If you get a blog, let me know! I love seeing pictures and hearing about your sweet family! Anxious for pictures of Brooklynn!GranGran: I like being able to look at pictures while I am at work.Diane Palmire: I hate to hear that you might leave this site as this is the only way I get to keep up with you girls and see this beautiful great grandchildren photos. I am very proud of you and Lauren and pray for you all and your families everyday. May your lives always be such a wonderful witness for God. Carson is such a cutie and I know you are having so much fun, he always looks so happy. Hope your delivery of Brooklynn goes very well and easy. Love you all, Grandma PalmireAdd a comment:

Well, my last day of school was on Thursday, June 4 (well actually I missed the last two days). Victor and Carson picked me up around noon and we headed to Mississippi.
Our first stop was in Pearl to visit Poppa, Grammy and Devin. Carson had a great time playing with Poppa- riding the four-wheeler and watching the horsies! He even got the ride on the four-wheeler with Uncle Devin. This was a big deal. Finally, after about 4 months and two surgeries, Devin is on the final stretch of recovery from breaking his leg in two places after a horse accident. We also went to the park one night with my mom. Carson loved the swings! We were able to stay in Pearl until Saturday afternoon.
Next, we headed to Duck Hill. Saturday night we went to Brittany's (Victor's cousin) wedding. We all had a great time. Carson especially did. They had a band and Carson danced from their first strum til their last! He entertained everyone! I had a ton of people telling me we were going to have our hands full when he gets older. I believe we have a party animal on our hands! He ran around, danced, clapped, kicked up his legs and had a great time.
In Duck Hill, Carson rode the four-wheeler, his tractor, the BIG tractor, checked the cows, picked bananna peppers out of the garden and went fishing for the first time. He had many vistors too. Baboo and Mac came to visit and eat dinner with us, Shelby, Betty, Melinda, Fran, and Marjorie stopped by as well.
Then, on Wendnesday Victor and I headed to Nashville, TN to see Nic (Victor's brother) and Katie. We were able to stop in Jackson, TN and have lunch with my roomate from college and her husband. It was fun catching up and visiting. We had a great time Wednesday night hanging out without kids or grandparents! We went downtown to eat and then to a piano bar. We had a great time. Carson got to Nashville the next day with Gran Gran, Big Dadda, and BB. Then we went out to eat with everyone including Unc, Nikki and her parents. We were going to watch Nic, Unc and Nikki play kickball, but their game was cancled due to the weather. The next two days were spent hanging out and at the pool. On Sunday we were all pretty lazy and then went to a water park, Nashville Shores, that afternoon.
On Monday, we got up and headed to Southaven, MS. Carson slept the entire way! In Southaven, we had lunch with the team planning/praying about going to Vancouver, BC next summer to plant a church. It was fun seeing old friends and watching Carson play with all the other kids who will be going. He played and got along well with his new family!
Our next stop was in Duck Hill for one night and then back to Pearl. We are going to be here until Thursday and then back home to TEXAS! We have been on the go and busy, but have greatly enjoyed being with family.
Brooklynn made the busy trip too! She is so active- I love feeling her kick and move around. I can't wait for her arrival in just a few short months. Carson now tells people that he is going to have a baby sister and her name is Brooklynn.
On another note, Carson has started using the potty. He has pretty much began to train himself! We put him on the pot a few times when we saw him going to the bathroom. Next thing we knew he was telling us he needed to poopoo in the potty. When we get home we are getting big boy underware and trying full force. Please pray that this goes well. It would be a huge blessing to have him out of diapers before Brooklynn arrives.Comments:Add a comment:

It's a GIRL! God is blessing us with a beautiful little girl. I was overwhelmed with joy when the sonographer finally announced it was a girl. Carson seems to be excited about having a sister. He says sister and knows the baby is in mommy's tummy. We are still deciding on a name. I am pretty sure the middle name will be Ann. That is my middle name, MomaDot's, Mrs. Vickie's (Victor's mom), and Mimi's (Victor's great grandmother). She will be here in a few very short months (September 15) so, for know we are looking for everything PINK and big hair bows!!
Comments:Brooke Fortenberry: Yay, Lyndsey!!! I am truly so excited for you two! Can't wait to hear the full name. That's neat how "Ann" is all throughout the family. Miss you!Add a comment:

Well, if you haven't heard... We are expecting another baby in September. We went for the two month doctor visit this past week. They did a sonogram and we were able to hear and see the heartbeat (that is such a reassuring and wonderful sound). We could also see the little arms and legs waving and kicking around. She's an active one :) I would love a girl, but either way I will be completely happy!
Carson is so much fun. He loves to make everyone laugh. He is always making music in some way. He has rhythm (don't know were he got that) and loves to dance and sing. His new favorite movie is "Cow" a Baby Einstein farm movie.Comments:Add a comment:

Last Thursday night Victor, Carson, and I were enjoying dinner a Chick-fil-A before getting Carson's picture made with Santa when Victor received a phone call. It was a friend of ours giving us a heads up that the Naylor Children's Center (where Carson goes to school) would be closing FOR GOOD on Jan. 1. This was news that we really didn't want to believe. The next morning when Victor dropped Carson off he asked Mrs. Jenny (Carson's teacher- who we LOVE) and she said information would go home that afternoon and that was all she could say. We know that God is sufficient and will provide to meet all of our needs. However, this is a very sad time for us. We love Carson's teachers. He has learned so much in the short time that he has been there. Plus, he is a loving and Godly atmosphere. This year I have also been struggling leaving Carson everyday so, I know this time of transition is going to be tough. Please be praying for our family, Lauren and Jason, the teachers and all the other seminary families as we seek God's direction through this time of change.

Once again a lot has happened since the last time I wrote. Carson is walking no RUNNING everywhere! He is so cute running with his stiff legs. It is amazing how quick they are able to master something. We go outside to play and he takes off down the sidewalk.
Kellis arrived on September 10. My mom came into town and we kept Ashlynn for a few days. It may be the last time Lauren leaves her with us. One night while she was here we were going up stairs (mom had Carson and I WAS watching Ashlynn coming up the stairs) and she missed the step or something and went tumbling down! It was a big SCARY fall. I was right there but, she just kept on bumping and falling, I was in shock I guess. Momma did a major check and she was fine. But we did have to go back to the hospital that night with a bruised face so, I was forced to tell!
Kellis is a great baby. This has been a huge blessing for Lauren and Jason. She sleeps and eats. Ashlynn is adjusting well now.
Victor got a job at a church in Arlington, Fielder Road BAptist Church, as a part-time 5th-6th grade minister. He enjoys it- it keeps him very busy! My job is still going great! It is so nice to be able to teach instead of discipline! I have been struggling with work. I would love to stay home with Carson. He is so much fun, I just don't have enough time to spend with him.
A few weeks ago my Papaw Marvin passed away so we made a QUICK trip to Mobile, AL. We left Sunday after church, drove 11 hours, stayed with friends-David and Jamie, went to the funeral on Monday, and drove back 11 hours on Monday. It was pure torture on Carson being in his car seat so long. Hopefully we won't be making a trip like that again.
The next weekend Carson and I flew to Mississippi. We had a blast. Momma had the whole weekend planned out for us. Saturday morning we got up and went to the pumpkin patch. We went on a hay ride and got to play and pick out pumpkins. Carson loved it, he called the pumpkins balls! Then we went to a baby shower for my friend Ashley. When we got back to the house Gran Gran was there and we headed to the Mississippi State Fair. Carson had a blast there too! He rode several rides and ate his first fair corn dog! We just hung out Sunday and then we flew back home.
Carson loves school and his teacher, Mrs. Jenny. He is learning so much there. Last week they went on their first field trip to the Goldfish Pond across the street on campus. They loaded up on the buggy and off they went. They said Carson had a blast! we took pictures before and after the field trip. It was a exciting day!
This past weekend my cousin Katie came in town. She came mainly to see Kellis and help Lauren. We had a great time hanging out.
Yesterday Carson and I didn't go to church. We have decided for Carson and I to stay home for now (I am very stingy with my time with him). We had a blast! We cooked and played, went outside, ate dinner, watch his signs movie, made his first halloween craft (a bat), danced and sang to music, and then he passed out. It was a wonderful night, that I needed. I am praying that I will treasure each moment I have with him. God has truly blessed us with a happy and fun little boy. We are extremely thankful.Comments:Ashley: I am so glad that you are enjoying living in Texas and loving your job! Carson is such a little ham. I just love looking at his pictures. He is such a handsome little man. Ella is sleeping all the way through the night and has been for a couple of weeks. She is going to the dr. tomorrow for her 2 month shots...not looking forward to that. I remember what you went through, no fun. She is getting so big and is such a joy to be around. Well, I just wanted to stop in and say hello. And btw email me your new address so I can send you her birth announcement/Christmas card.Add a comment:

Well, we have recently celebrated Carson's first birthday!! I cannot believe that he is already 1! The year has flown by. We are settled in Texas. I LOVE my job! I had a crazy start- getting moved to a new school after I had fixed up one room- but it was a huge blessing! My principal is awesome, he let me leave early on Carson's birthday (which was on the first week of school). Victor just found out that he got a job at Fielder road baptist church in Arlington. He starts monday and will be a student/childrens minister for 5th and 6th grade. Carson has started daycare. He has Ashlynn's teacher from last year, which we were very excited about. His first week was a little rough. He had a lot of adjusting to do- being away form mommy and daddy and only getting one nap a day. Then Gran Gran and Big Daddy came to visit and stayed for 12 days!!! So, this week was his second week of school. We were a little surprised but, he had a really good week! He still cries when Victor drops him off in the morning but, they say not for long.

Well, we have made it to Fort Worth, TX. We are getting settled and LOVE being so close to Aunt Lauren, Uncle Jason and especially Ashlynn. Ashlynn is so crazy, Carson just loves her. We see her just about everyday. She even spent one night with us, it was Carson's first sleepover company! Since we have been in Texas, Carson has started crawling and pulling up on everything. Once he pulls up he will stand on his own for a few seconds. It is so cute, you can tell he is so proud of himself. Last week we went to Arkansas for the fourth of July. We stayed at Momadot and Grandaddy's and had a great time. We got to meet the new addition to our family, Anamarie. This is my cousin's (Katie) second little girl. She is so sweet and perfect! Momadot enjoyed every second we were there I believe, I don't think she ever quit smiling. She is doing well, but gets tired easily. This past week she had her last round of chemo and is having a cat scan tomorrow to see how everything is going. Please be praying for her. We had a wonderful visit and of course it ended with tears. I don't think I have ever left Momadots' without crying. There are just so many happy memories there. I hope Carson has as much fun at his grandparents! Also, while we were in Arkansas Carson advanced to a big boy seat. He now faces the front in his car seat and absolutely loves it.
Next week we will be heading back to Mississippi to drop off Carson. Then Victor and I will be heading out with a team from Trinity to India. I am excited yet nervous about this adventure. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us. I learned good news and bad news about the trip today. Bad news- lots of leeches and scorpions-eek! good news- I will be able to call and talk to Carson EVERYDAY!! WHOOHOO! Please be in pray for this trip too. Pray against spiritual warfare and that we will have a mind of Christ.Comments:Add a comment:
